My oldest daughter is in the 10th/11th grade so you will notice a mix in her curriculum. We tried out a few new things this year and since I am getting this out late I can tell you what we think so far. I have been trying to find a Spanish curriculum that is a good fit for her and I think I finally found it. I was apprehensive on Rosetta Stone because of the cost and originally I thought that there was no workbook or tests to grade her with, but I was wrong. They have a homeschool version that has both the workbook and tests and she is finding it much more geared toward her learning style.
We also tried Notgrass for the first time this year. I was a little standoffish with this one at first too because of the multiple subjects in one. I feared that it would only cover one or two of the subjects sufficiently. I decided to give it a try, but only using the History and Bible components and using BJU for the Literature and Grammar & Writing. This has worked out wonderfully. Honestly I wish I had begun this program last year for American History.
The other sort of new addition was Apologia Chemistry. Although she has used Apologia Science since she began 7th grade this year she is taking the class online. This is most helpful to me since I am more a math girl than a science girl. I believe we will also be using this again for Physics next year.
Now on to our curriculum choices:
